Account & data deletion
Blurt keeps very little about you, and you can remove all of it. Here's exactly what exists and how to delete it — on your own, or by asking us.
01 What data Blurt holds
Local data
Your phrases and game settings, stored on the phone itself. Removed when you delete them in-app or uninstall the app.
Synced data
Your shared dictionary and an anonymous account identifier, stored in Firebase so paired devices share one dictionary. No name or email is attached.
02 Delete it yourself, in the app
- Open Blurt and go to your dictionary. Delete individual phrases, or use Clear dictionary to remove them all.
- To stop syncing between phones, open settings and choose Unpair. This disconnects the devices.
- To remove everything from the cloud, choose Delete account & synced data in settings. This deletes your anonymous account and the synced dictionary tied to it.
- To remove all local data, delete the app from your phone.
03 Or ask us to delete it
Email us and we'll erase it
Send a request to support@z19r.com from the device or with the details below, and we'll delete your synced data for you.
Please include:
- The subject line “Data deletion request.”
- Your pairing / couple code, if you have it (Settings → About), so we can find the right record.
We'll confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
04 What's removed, and what may remain
Deletion removes your synced dictionary and your anonymous account identifier from our active database. Backups and logs, if any, are purged on our regular cycle. We may retain limited records only where required by law (for example, tax records for a purchase — which never include your game content). Purchase history is held by Apple, not by us.
