Terms of Service

Effective August 18, 2026 · Last updated August 18, 2026

These Terms are the agreement between you and z19r for using Blurt. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

01 Your license to use Blurt

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Blurt on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.

02 The content you create

Blurt is built around phrases you write. You keep all rights to the phrases and other content you add (“Your Content”). You grant us only the limited license needed to store Your Content and sync it across your paired devices so the game works. We don't claim ownership, and we don't use Your Content for advertising or share it publicly.

You are responsible for Your Content. You agree not to add content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have the right to use. Because phrases are private to your own game, they are not moderated by us.

03 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

04 Purchases

Any purchase or in-app purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and is subject to Apple's terms. Prices are shown before you buy. Refunds and billing questions are handled by Apple; requests can be made through Apple's standard process.

05 The app is provided “as is”

Blurt is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

06 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, z19r will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost enjoyment, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50.00 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

07 Termination

You may stop using the app and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

08 Apple App Store terms

Because you get Blurt through the Apple App Store, the following apply, and in the event of a conflict with the rest of these Terms as they relate to the App Store, this section controls:

09 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not affect mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.

10 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
